Gudmund Hermansen is one of the two inspirators and organisers of the Oslo Data-Science Meetup. In yesterdays Oslo Data Science Meetup, he introduced Linn Cecilie Solbergersen, former PhD student at the Department of Mathematics, and now at NRK, who talked about "NRK's recommender system, from prototype towards production". The seminar was so popular that it was fully booked.
